What is Happening?

On January 3, 4, and 5, the 14thNOW march will gather in Washington D.C. for a PEACEFUL protest.

For those of us who cannot be there, we can still use our collective voices to demand that lawmakers remember their oath to protect and uphold the constitution of our nation.

We are asking our representatives in congress to uphold the 14th Amendment of the Constitution of the United States.

Fourteenth Amendment

Equal Protection and Other Rights
“Section 3 Disqualification from Holding Office

No person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice-President, or hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any State, who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States, or as a member of any State legislature, or as an executive or judicial officer of any State, to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof. But Congress may by a vote of two-thirds of each House, remove such disability.”

What does this mean?

This means that a man-who-would-be-king, who is the first president to be impeached twice and who has been found guilty of 34 felony counts, one of them being guilty of inciting and engaging in insurrection, is DISQUALIFIED from holding the office to which he was elected.

WHO IS THE SWAMP?

Before being inaugurated back in 2017, Donald J. Trump claimed he was going to “drain the swamp” in Washington. We all know how well that went.

Now we are faced with Trump 2.0 and he’s stocking the swamp with every rabid sycophant Billionaire-Bro-Pick-Me he can get his hands on. Did he mention that a good few of them have ties to Project 2025 – you know, the thing he knew nothing about?

So, Um...Woopsie?

Um, NO WAY!

We can’t just float like rotten logs and let them steamroll over us. Our Senators and Representatives are supposed to work in OUR best interests, not for the billionaire oligarchs who are actively buying them. If they ignore us, then they truly HAVE become the swamp.

We have to show them that we care about our democracy. That we care about our constitution and our liberties. We can’t let them win without a (peaceful) fight.

We want justice. We want law and order. We will not be repeating the chaos of January 6, 2021. Trump showed the world that day how much he cared about our constitution.

In fact, he stepped all over it with his bone-spur riddled feet and he shows no sign of stopping. He never will. Would hot coals send a message?

How about a large swarm of buzzing bees?

WHAT CAN WE DO?

If you can, PLEASE JOIN the march, 14thNOW, they need “warm bodies” in Washington.

And if you can’t make it in person, then fax, baby, FAX! And call, baby, CALL! Let’s swarm our senators and representatives with so many messages they cannot ignore us.
